Mission

Death Doula LV mission is to compassionately provide advocacy, support, and clear communication for individuals, caregivers, families, and medical teams. The aim is to ensure a holistic, dignified end-of-life experience, with seamless continuity of care for the dying and their loved ones.

Vision

Death Doulas envision a world where elders and anyone with a terminal illness(es) receive the support they need to thoughtfully plan their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wishes as they journey through the end of life.

About Me

For over a decade, I have been privileged to work closely with elders and their families, helping to support and navigate the complexities of aging, care, and end-of-life transitions. My journey began with a deep commitment to providing compassionate care and understanding the unique needs of elders living in nursing homes and Memory Support units. Through my professional experiences—whether coordinating research in gerontology or advocating for culture change in long-term care settings—I’ve witnessed firsthand the challenges and emotions that come with these important life stages.

I believe that everyone deserves a dignified, meaningful transition, with their wishes honored and their care approached holistically. I’ve seen how a supportive presence and well-coordinated communication between families, caregivers, and medical staff can make the difference in an individual’s quality of life during these sacred times.

I am committed to this meaningful and important work—helping not only the elderly and individuals facing terminal illnesses but also their family and caregivers- ensuring everyone’s needs are met with the utmost care and respect so that healing (and grieving) processes may occur.
